Beth’s Best Playing After School Sports

Participating in after school sports is a big part of what the girls look forward to as they returned to school.  Each of the girls has chosen a different sport. Carly has always loved gymnastics and is looking forward to “nailing” her aerial cartwheel in her mat routine! Her outfit DRGBT-ST is awesome for workouts as it has a great slouchy tee shirt as a coverup to wear while warming up on the mat.  The one piece leotard for 18in dolls is so comfy with the stretchy fabric and strappy back; she can freely move through all her routines. Her 18″ doll gym bag, DNDB-ST can hold lots of stuff she needs: wrist guards, chalk, slippers.  Catherine is off doing cross country running.  She loves going through the scenic areas around the school. Her 18″ doll running outfit DRWOS-PG is a 3 piece set in some of her favorite colors, pink and green! Capri length stretch pants for 18 inch dolls match the long sleeve tee shirt which has thumb holes to keep her sleeves down as the weather gets chilly. She loves the “LOVE” graphic on the 18in doll tee and Continue Reading →

Beth’s Best 18″ Doll Field Trip

Posted on by Tori Hall

This week, Beth’s Best is taking the 18″ dolls on their much deserved field trip.  Since the weather on the east coast has finally warmed up, the girls are headed to the beach.  Wind in their hair, sand in their toes and a boardwalk full of fun foods and souvenir stores, the day promises to provide them memories to last a lifetime.  Since this is a school sponsored trip, there was a dress code where girls had to wear pants or shorts.  That made picking outfits easy. Since it is still too chilly to be swimming, no swimwear necessary!  Sophia is always cold, so her capri pants outfit SH-WT-HC is perfect. She grabbed a  hoodie for 18in dolls, SPHD in keep in her backpack MABP-HP along with her phone and sunscreen.  New  18″  floral doll espadrilles STEF-HP are so comfy for walking and easy to slip off in case she can just run and dip her feet in the water!! Always a great accessory are some cool shades,  DNFSG-RD and Sophia just loves the red polka dot color.  Julia’s wearing a super 18 inch doll graphic tee and shorts set Continue Reading →

Back to School!

Back from vacation and, for many, a time to be thinking about going back to school! Many children return to school before Labor Day, which for some families might interrupt a late summer vacation. Others start after the long Labor Day weekend. Personally, I prefer the pre-Labor Day start. Transitioning back to a regular routine is not easy for most families. Knowing that after a few days back at school there will be a short intermission before returning to a full time schedule is less stressful. The first few days of school are usually filled with important information that is not usually academic – how to operate lockers, schedules, class changes, forms to complete, hall passes, dress codes, etc. By the time students return after Labor Day, they might be more focused and ready to attend to learning. Practicing the “get up for school” routine is a good way to get kids and parents ready for this new schedule. Grocery shopping for healthy breakfast foods and lunch box treats can get everyone involved.  It is a special time punctuated with new school supplies and often a few new clothing items and lots of new friends! Hoping that your Continue Reading →
