The girls love dressing up and helping their community, so Beth’s Best is having a fashion show fundraiser. Since Sophia’s family has a rescue dog and Carly’s family just adopted a cat, their fundraiser will support the ASPCA. Our first contestant, Carly wore a stunning blue spaghetti strap dress with a matching hair accessory, shawl and purse DRSDT-AC. Her metallic teal shoes SUB-TL were a perfect match and made it easy to move about the stage while she sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” for the talent portion! Catherine was excited to wear her rainbow two piece bikini with the matching skirt DRBSB-RB. for the swimsuit competition. It is her favorite 3 piece bathing suit for 18in dolls because if she wants an easy cover-up, she just puts the skirt on over the bikini bottoms. The yellow ring details are fun. Strutting down the runway in her polka dot flip flops STFF-AQ certainly caught the judges eye! These unique sandals for 18″ dolls fit snugly at the toe and have an elastic strap to be sure they stay put! Sophia was the top fundraiser for the ASPCA and received a bouquet of flowers and wore her tiara proudly. Her pink strapless gown DRBGS-LP included her long pink opera gloves and tiara (good thing she won!) She needed an 18″ doll dress shoe with a small heel and peep toe, SSPT-PK, so that her gown would not drag…or so she wouldn’t trip over the dogs and cats while walking down the runway! She also wanted her manicured piggy toes to show! So cute! The girls had a such a blast dressing up and strutting their stuff down the runway while raising some much needed funds for one of their favorite organizations. If you wanted to have a fashion show as a fundraiser, what charity would you choose?
Beth’s Best is having her 18″ dolls baking something super sweet for Father’s Day. What better way to celebrate Dads by treating them to a fancy homemade dessert. The gals have taken an interest in the TV cooking programs and have dreams of winning Master Chef Junior. Who wouldn’t want to get yelled at by Gordon Ramsey!! Since school has ended, they meet every day at each other’s homes to watch and see how the teams are doing. Scanning the other cooking shows, they have learned to make soups and main courses. They have even taken to preparing vegetables! Each of their dads has a sweet tooth, so they decided on creating special desserts for Father’s Day. They have all of their 18″ doll baking accessories LA-BS out and ready Carly bought a plain white apron for 18″ dolls DNDA-WH and has personalized it herself. She instantly fell for the dainty ruffles at the hem and doesn’t really want to get it dirty! Her dad will be very proud of her artistic accomplishments as well as her baking skills! Always practicing in her own kitchen, Julia received an 18in doll 4 piece baking chef costume DRBC for her last birthday. Now she can look like a professional when she’s whipping up something for the family’s dinner. She especially loves the toque, the tall white chef’s hat and traditional white double breasted jacket with a cupcake embroidered right on the front! Fortunately, her red clogs SSPW-RD work perfectly with her chef outfit. Sophia is all decked out in her 3 piece apron set for 18″dolls DRBA that includes an adorable polka dot apron with a front pocket, 2 matching oven mitts and a white toque (remember what that is?) with pink trim. Each of them now dressed in a super cute look for the kitchen is ready to get to work. Pie, a cake and some homemade candy will be on their task list and they are very excited to present them to their dads on Sunday!
As the school year comes to a close, Beth’s Best is celebrating 18″ dolls’ graduations. Sophia, Julia and Catherine are all graduating from high school. These three gals have been together since elementary school and will have the summer to spend together before heading off in different directions. Much time was spent deciding on what 18 inch doll clothes to wear underneath their cap and gown, DRGCG. Their 18″ doll graduation set is a traditionally styled, zipper front gown with a matching white mortar board hat. Sophia chose DRPHD, a plaid halter style 18in doll dress. The full skirt and halter neckline will keep her cool during the ceremony and the colorful plaid will look super in photo ops! Ballerina flats for 18 inch dolls in bright pink patent leather SUB-HP match her dress perfectly and walking across the bumpy football field for her diploma will be a breeze! Julia’s 18 inch doll dress DRPFD is so springy with the pink and white floral pattern, gently scooped neckline and capped sleeves. A large hot pink flower embellishment at the waistline and cinched trim detail at the hem look beautiful against her long black hair, which she has chosen to leave down. Ankle strap shoes for 18in dolls SAD-WH in white patent and her comfiest! Loving the color pink, Catherine wore DRPWS-ST, an 18 inch doll 2 piece skirt set. She absolutely loves the pink sequin peter pan collar a top of the capped sleeve tee shirt. So glitzy! Pink and white stripes and a flouncy ruffled hemline make the drop waist skirt so much fun to wear. Always trying to be edgy, Catherine chose her SBFT-AN-HP, hot pink animal print ballet flats for 18in dolls. Since she was not writing a message on her mortar board, she is hoping that her family can spot her walking in by her animal print 18″ doll shoes! So before the pomp and circumstance begins, the besties are hanging out in Julia’s room on her lounge chair set, SF-SSC. This is an exciting day for them full of reminiscing, laughing and even a few tears! Congratulations to them and to all the new graduates!
